Score last round: 389. Another solid outing, and enough to maintain my grip on 2nd place in the conference (see ya HoofHearted!) and sneak a few more places up the overall standings (to 128th overall). The Mustangs look safe at the top of the conference though, nearly 200 points clear and in 23rd overall, a damn fine effort!

In the Tight Forwards, Matfield [26] was the worst performer, but by no means bad, trailing powerhouse performances from Louw [46] and Maling [44]. These boys are pretty much the top 3 locks in the comp, they can stay.

The Loosies really did the business for me this week, Holah [57] and Smith [58] tackled each other to a standstill, both having huge weeks. They are both good enough to keep I reckon, although I may swap McCaw in for Holah depending on transfers.

Inside Backs were solid again, with Flatley [69] having a huge one and Burke [30] a solid one. Gaffie Du Toit [24] didn't quite have the big one i hoped for as the Bulls kept it close against the Sharks, but he wasn't a total waste of space. For the last round we will go back to the reliables though, out goes Gaffie, in comes Aaron Mauger. I may also swap Burke for Mortlock or Larkham yet, will make that call on Friday.

Outside backs were fairly anemic this week overall, largely due to Doug Howlett [0] doing nothing. Terblanche [35] had a good week, but not the blinder I hoped for against the Bulls. Both guys are gone-burger, with Latham and Montgomery (who is playing the Bulls) coming in.
